This collection includes nine poems and poem sequences inspired by mystics in a number of traditions. The title is taken from a sequence of four poems on some words of Meister Eckhart. The collection also includes meditations on Kohelet, Zhuangzi, Hildegard of Bingen, Julian of Norwich, the beginnings of the Gospel of John and the daodejing (two beginnings that might be good news), and some ordinary encounters in ordinary time.
